Happy Happy Joy Joy!
We sure do have a happy little girl. Well, most of the time anyway. This morning, she started making a new sound. We think she's starting to discover her voice for something other than crying.

Craig's List ROCKS!!!
After perusing Craig's List for a Baby Einstein set, we stumbled across a lady in town that was selling the 12 DVD set for $35! As anyone who has priced Baby Einstein sets can attest, this is quite a bargain. Isabella doesn't know what's going on in the videos yet (I don't either in some of them) but she likes the fun shapes, colors, and music. This morning, we watched Baby Beethoven on the couch after breakfast.

2 months already!?!
Isabella had her 2 month checkup and vaccinations on Monday 14 Jan and she's still 100% perfect!
She's growing at a good pace and here's her stats:
Height: 22 3/8" - 50%
Weight: 10 lbs 3 oz - 35%
Head Circumference 15 1/2" - 68% (means big brain!)
The percentages is how she compares to other 2 month old females.
The doctor was impressed with her alertness and her visual acuity. He complimented her mommy and daddy for doing a good job!
She also hit another milestone last night. We've been putting her in her bassinet lately in preparation for moving her into her own room at 3 months and after eating a little before 10 PM, we laid her down and she slept until a little after 5 am!!! 7 hours! Mommy and daddy liked that! :-)

Just like Mommy!
Well, she's definitely a morning person! She's happiest right after waking up first thing in the morning. Usually earlier than her mommy and obviously before Daddy is ready to get up.
By the way, ignore the commentary. I already told you I'm a big softie when it comes to Isabella.
Here's some new ones...
I think this last picture is funny. She had just smiled like half a second before the picture took.

Happy New Year!
Please forgive me for not being more on top of the regular updates. These days, I'm finding that I don't have the time to do a lot of things I'd like. Blog postings being one of those things.
On Christmas Day, Allison's sisters Amy, Hannah, and Hannah's husband Brandon came to visit. On the way to the airport to pick them up, I was in a minor accident in the brand new car while trying to avoid someone sliding into me. It was snowing pretty hard and the roads were in terrible shape. I was able to miss the car sliding into my lane, but the evasive action caused me to hit the concrete median going about 20 mph.
It only did about $1500 worth of damage, but I'd JUST rolled over 2000 miles on my new FJ Cruiser so it's pretty frustrating. Oh well, I guess I'm just thankful that I wasn't hurt.
While they were here, Amy and Hannah got to get in some sledding with Lee and Monique, and Connor on New Year's Day. I did a run or two down the hill before going for a short run at 3 Sisters trails.
Amy enjoyed some cuddle time!
Our little girl is growing and changing more every week. When we take her out in the cold, we make sure to bundle her up!
